Listen: John McColgan tells Pat Kenny about our China success

John McColgan joined Pat Kenny on Ireland’s Newstalk FM this morning to talk about the success of Heartbeat of Home in China, where promoters have suggested the show could run for at least 10 years.

The show ran in China for four shows – two in Beijing and two in Shanghai – to an audience of 7,500 per venue. John tells Pat about the adaptations that were made for the Chinese audience, the preparations we made for the show in China given the language and cultural barriers and how many people filmed the show on phones and tablets.

He also talks about the stress and nerves before the show and how the audience reacted to the show. He also mentions the Arena Tour planned for China in 2015.
