Our first full Cast and Band Meet and Greet

This morning, as we prepare to announce our Full Cast and Band, we gathered everyone together in the Liffey Trust Studios for our first meet and greet.

This is the first time the full cast and band have been in the same room with the Director, Choreographers, Composer and the rest of the Creative team. Also present were our documentary team who are filming the entire process, from concept to opening night.

We met our band, and our Afro-Cuban, Flamenco, Latin and Irish dancers – some of whom had worked together before though it was a first time meeting for many.

Following an introduction by each of the band members and the creative team, we were treated to a preview of three of the dances from the show. It was the first time some of our newest cast members had seen irish dancing so up-close and personal and gave everyone there a taste of what’s to come in the next five weeks of rehearsals and, of course, the show itself.
