Cathal Croke

Uilleann Pipes, Guitar, Whistle
Dublin-born, Cathal started playing music from the age of seven and began learning the Uilleann Pipes at thirteen. A Senior All Ireland Champion, he has played for two Presidents of Ireland, including Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina at Aras an Uachtarian. Cathal has performed regularly at international festivals such as Festival Interceltique du l’Orient and HIFA Festival, Zimbabwe, shared the stage with Ralph McTell in Hamburg and was recorded by Ireland’s National Television Broadcaster, RTÉ. Since graduating from the University of Limerick with an Honours Degree in Music, Cathal has toured in Ireland, the United Kingdom, China, Germany and Australia.
